Two men, one middle-aged, the other very young, cross paths in a sordid and pathetic circumstance. One of them is clearly in need of emotional connection; the other is most definitely in search of nothing but money. Both their needs bounce against each other, but they don't move off-center until one of them learns a disturbing truth that deeply affects both of them. From that point forward, everything that they know must be relearned; everything they believe about themselves must be reconsidered.
